Privacy Policy

What we collect when you call or browse, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to ask us to delete it. Short version: we collect what a dispatcher needs to send a plumber to your house, and we share it with the contractor who is coming.

Effective 16 September 2026. This policy is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who this covers

This policy applies to oregonplumbingdispatch.com and to calls placed to our dispatch line, 1-866-203-6890. Oregon Plumbing Dispatch is a referral service that connects homeowners with independent licensed plumbing contractors.

What we collect

When you call us. Your name, phone number, service address, and what you tell us about the plumbing problem. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and dispatch accuracy; if a call is being recorded you will be told at the start of the call.

When you browse the site. Standard server request data handled by our hosting provider: IP address, user agent, the pages requested, and timestamps. The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers. Fonts are currently requested from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.

What we do not collect. We do not ask for payment details — you pay the contractor directly, not us. We do not knowingly collect information from children. We do not buy or sell personal information.

Why we collect it

  • To route your job to a contractor who covers your area and does that kind of work
  • To call you back about that job, and to follow up on whether it was resolved
  • To keep the service working: fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance
  • To understand which parts of Oregon generate which work, in aggregate

Who we share it with

The contractor we dispatch. They receive your name, address, phone number and the description of the problem, because they cannot come to your house without it. Each contractor is an independent business and handles your information under their own policies.

Service providers. Our website host and our telephone provider process data on our behalf in order to serve the site and connect calls.

Legal. We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of people involved.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

Dispatch records are retained for as long as needed to handle the job and any follow-up or dispute, and then for a reasonable period for our own records. Server logs are retained on our host's standard schedule.

Your choices and rights

Oregon residents have rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to correct it, and to request deletion. You may also ask us not to call you again.

To exercise any of these, call 1-866-203-6890 and say you are making a privacy request. We will verify who you are before acting on it, and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Dispatch records are held on access-controlled systems. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as required by law.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date at the top and post the revised version here.
