Terms of Service
The short version: we are a referral service, not a plumbing contractor. We connect you with an independent licensed plumber. They quote you, they do the work, and they are responsible for it.
Effective 16 September 2026. Using this site or calling our dispatch line means you accept these terms.

1. What Oregon Plumbing Dispatch does
We operate a statewide dispatch and referral line. When you call, we identify what you need and refer the job to an independent plumbing contractor who serves your area. We are not a plumbing contractor, we do not employ the plumbers who come to your property, and we do not perform plumbing work.
2. The contractor relationship
Any contract for plumbing work is between you and the contractor. They set their own prices, their own scheduling, their own warranties and their own terms. They are solely responsible for the work they perform, for their licensing, bonding and insurance, and for compliance with permit, inspection and code requirements in your jurisdiction. You are entitled to ask any contractor for their Oregon CCB number and proof of insurance before work begins, and we encourage you to do so.
3. No guarantee of outcome or timing
We will make reasonable efforts to route a qualified contractor to you promptly. We cannot guarantee availability, arrival times, or prices, particularly during regional weather events when demand across a whole region spikes at once. Any time estimate given on a call is an estimate, not a commitment.
4. Emergency situations
Guidance given on a call — shutting off the main, killing power to a wet area, opening a low fixture to relieve pressure — is general safety information, not professional advice for your specific property. If you believe there is a risk to life, gas, or electrical safety, call 911 or your utility's emergency line first.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about the property, the problem and access
- Be the owner, or authorised by the owner, to have work performed
- Provide safe access to the work area, including crawl spaces and shut-offs
- Deal directly with the contractor on quotes, payment and warranty claims
6. Site content
The plumbing information on this site — what fails in which towns, what a symptom usually means, what to check first — is general guidance about Oregon housing stock and conditions. It is not a diagnosis of your property and should not replace an inspection by a licensed plumber. Content, layout and copy on this site are ours and may not be copied wholesale.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Oregon law, Oregon Plumbing Dispatch is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or cost arising from work performed by an independent contractor, from delay or unavailability, or from reliance on general guidance published on this site or given on a call. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Disputes
If a job goes wrong, tell us — call 1-866-203-6890. We cannot arbitrate, but we can put you back in contact with the contractor, escalate within their business, and stop referring work to contractors who do not stand behind it. Claims about the work itself are between you and the contractor, and the Oregon Construction Contractors Board handles formal complaints against licensed contractors.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the site or the dispatch line after that means you accept the revised terms.
